The mythological creature ‘Yetis’ existed. A young Yeti captured by businessman Mr Burnish finds his way back home with his new friends, who help him reach his destination, and reunites with his family.
Abominable is the 2019 animated adventure film produced by DreamWorks Animation and Pearl Studio, written and Directed by Jill Culton.
A prominent businessman, Mr. Burnish, captures the young Yeti to prove the existence of Yetis to the world, but unfortunately, Yeti manages to escape. A teenage Chinese girl named Yi finds Yeti in her terrace tent. She feeds Yeti and eventually develops a friendly bond with young Yeti. Soon, the search team for Yeti finds the location of Yeti and surrounds him to capture, and this time, Yeti and Yi manage to escape. While dropping Yeti at the port, Yi boldly decides to leave the city with Yeti as she has always wanted to travel the world. Seeing Yi leave the city, her friends follow her, too. On the way to Yeti’s home on Everest in the Himalayas, they encounter several problems and have a great adventure together. In the last plot of the film, Mr Burnish decides to let Yeti have his freedom, but Dr Zara takes a turn and acts as a major villain in the story by capturing Yeti.
