The biographical film “Bob Marley” earned an additional $3.9 million on Thursday, making its total domestic earnings for two days $17.9 million. The movie is also making a remarkable impact internationally, as it opened with a record-breaking figure of $2.3 million in the UK on Wednesday. It has set a new benchmark for music biopics.

Paramount’s Bob Marley: One Love continued to hold the top spot at the US box office despite a 73% decrease in its earnings since its debut, bringing its total earnings to $17.9 million. The movie premiered just before the long President’s Day weekend, with the official holiday on Monday. It is expected to make between $30 million and $35 million over the six-day holiday period.

Sony has introduced the One Love competition through its latest project, Madame Web. This project is an extension of the Spider-verse, which includes various heroes and villains related to Peter Parker.
Marvel Studios and DC are currently facing setbacks, but “Madame Web” has succeeded, earning $2.2 million on its second release day and bringing the domestic total to $8.2 million. It is expected to reach $26.8 million during the extended holiday period.

Reinaldo Marcus Green’s latest movie, “One Love,” is about the famous Jamaican musician and Rastafarian Bob Marley. The film stars British actor Kingsley Ben-Adir in the lead role. Marley’s family members, including his children Ziggy and Cedella and his wife Rita, are among the film’s producers. So far, the movie has received mixed reviews from critics, with a 44 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes as of Thursday morning. While Kingsley Ben-Adir’s performance as Bob Marley has been widely praised, some critics have criticized the film for being too safe and not taking enough risks.

“Madame Web” was directed by S.J. Clarkson, who is known from Anatomy of a Scandal for her directional work. Dakota Johnson plays the lead role of Cassie Webb, while Sydney Sweeney, Tahar Rahim, and Emma Roberts play supporting roles. Unfortunately, the movie has received negative reviews from critics and currently holds a low 15% “rotten” ranking on Rotten Tomatoes.
