Mushoku Tensei is returning with Season 2 Part 2 this spring. The Season 2’s Part 2 announcement was made on July 7, 2023, four days after releasing the special episode Guardian Fitz. The trailer gives a sneak peek into the upcoming part. It will premiere on April 7, 2024.
Adaptation of Rifujin na Magonote’s light novel, illustrated by Shirotaka. Hiroki Hirono. The director, Hiroki Hirono from Part 1, is replaced by a new director, Ryosuke Shibuya, for Part 2, who has shown his impressive direction work on projects like Sword Art Online and Blue Exorcist. Studio Bind resumes the production of the series, and the voice actors’ 6main core is anticipated to return to their roles.
While the first part of season one had a rather peculiar premise of Rudeus seeking a cure for his erectile dysfunction, it was still an emotionally charged journey that beautifully set up the second half. Despite the reduced action compared to season one, the quality remained top-notch, which was clearly evident in Vinland Saga’s relatively subdued second season.
This installment follows the story of a 34-year-old underachiever whose life was cut short by a truck and gets a second chance in a new world. Reborn as an infant, Rudy, in his new life, is determined to make the most of the opportunity to live the life he’s always wanted. With new friends, newfound magical abilities, and the courage to chase his dreams, he’s embarking on an epic adventure—with all of his past experience intact!
The Latest instalment comprises 12 episodes, which will air at 00:00 JST, every Sunday on Tokyo MX, BS11, and other channels, followed by their distribution on the ABEMA/d Anime store and international premieres on affiliated streaming services.
