The story follows Rosie’s teenage flamingo, a fun, cheerful individual who loves to dance. However, she becomes depressed after her older sister is killed in an attack by a pack of hateful podencos, and as a result, her flamenco dancing career comes to an abrupt end. Rosie becomes a shadow of her former self, unable to find joy in dance or life. One day, she meets Carlos, a carefree and exuberant lizard who encourages her to dance again.
