The holiday season movie is set to release on December 22. An adventure comedy animated film, written by “White Lotus” created by Mike White. Directed by Benjamin Renner, co-directed by Guylo Homsy. The movie is presented by Illumination, the creators of Minions and Despicable Me, and distributed by Universal Pictures.
The Mallard family is in bit of rut. The dad Mack is content to keep his family safe padding and according to him leaving the pond is a stupid idea whereas the mom Pam wants to travel and show their kids(the teenage son Dax and a daughter Gwen) world around. The family get convinced about the trip and embarks to Tropical Jamaica leaving the pond of New England.
The plan did not go well as they had intended. They had planned to leave for the South of Winter, but things went awry and they ended up in New York instead. The family was stunned to see a world they never imagined existed, and they soon realized how much they had been missing out on in life.
