NETFLIX RELEASE THE TRAILER OF MEA CULPA—a FILM BY TYLER PERRY.

Netflix released the trailer of Mea Culpa in collaboration with Perry, and also renowned for being the fourth project together with starring star Kelly Rowland in the lead role of MEA HARPER.

Tyler Perry seems to be “expanding his cinematic universe,” and his new upcoming project, a crime thriller Mea Culpa, totally justifies the statement by presenting viewers with a compelling plot. Perry also serves as writer, producer, and director in the film.

WHAT IS MEA CULPA ABOUT?

The film centers around Mea Harper, a criminal defense attorney who takes on the case of Zyair Malloy, a seductive artist accused of murdering his girlfriend. However, Harper’s brother-in-law seems unhappy with her new case and ends up causing trouble, leading to issues between her husband Kal and his family. As the case progresses, both the attorney and the artist are consumed by their dark desires, and things take a dangerous turn.

THE CAST STARRING ARE-
Kelly Rowland plays the leading role of Mea Harper, a criminal defence attorney. She previously starred in The Curse of Bridge HollowGrown-ishFreddy vs . JasonAmerican Soul, and Think Like a Man.

Trevante Rhodes plays the seductive artist Zyair Malloy. He has previously appeared in MoonlightBird BoxThe United States vs. Billie Holiday, and The Predator.

Sean Sagar (Fate: The Winx Saga) as Kal, Haper’s husband; Nick Sagar (in The Princess Switch sequel) as Ray, Harper’s brother-in-law.
RonReaco Lee (Guess Who) as Jimmy, a private investigator hired by Mea.
Shannon Thornton ( Inventing Anna) as Charlise, Charlise is Ray’s wife and Mea’s sister-in-law.
Kerry O’Malley (The Killer Annabelle: Creation, Shameless) plays Azalia, Ray and Kal’s mother, a classic boy mom who is there for them, for better or worse.
