Prime Video has released the first look & teaser for the upcoming British romantic comedy ‘How to Date Billy Walsh’ featuring Sebastian Croft, Charithra Chandran, and Tanner Buchanan.
The film is helmed by Alex Sanjiv Pillai, known for directing Bridgerton. Alexander J. Farrell and Greer Ellison, who worked on Making A Killing, have penned the script. Produced by Matt Williams (Save The Cinema) with co-producer Neil Jones (The Colour Room), both of Future Artists Entertainment. Executive producers include Piers Tempest (Military Wives), Merlin Merton and Sebastian Street (Tomorrow).
The film revolves around three high school students looped into love triangles. Amelia (Charithra Chandran) and Archie (Sebastian Croft) have been best friends since childhood. Archie has always been there for Amelia, supporting her and making her laugh, even though he has hidden his feelings for her. Just as Archie finally gathers the courage to confess his love to Amelia, she falls head over heels for Billy Walsh (Tanner Buchanan), a new transfer student from the United States. Heartbroken, Archie tries to keep Amelia and Billy away from each other, but his actions only bring them closer, and he risks losing his best friend in the process.
‘How to Date Billy Walsh’ will be released on April 5th, 2024, on Prime Video. The main cast stars include Sebastian Croft (Heartstopper) as Archie, Charithra Chandran (Bridgerton) as Amelia, and Tanner Buchanan (Cobra Kai) as Billy.
