On Monday, Netflix released the teaser trailer for “Queen of Tears” featuring Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won.
Jang Young-Woo and Kim Hee-Won co-directed “Queen of Tears”, a film co-written by Park Ji-Eun, who is well-known for her work on popular dramas such as ‘Crash Landing on You’, ‘My Love From the Star’, and ‘Producer’. The movie tells the story of a married couple, Baek Hyun-Woo (played by Kim Soo-Hyun) and Hong Hae-In (played by Kim Ji-Won), who find themselves in a difficult situation. Despite the crisis, their love story is nothing short of miraculous.
The lead actress, Kim Ji-Won, recently spoke about her role in the drama series. She portrays Hong Hae In, the department queen and heir of the Queens’ family. Although her character appears to be cold, she has a lovely side. She looks strong, but she also has her moments of weakness. Overall, her character is complex and not one-dimensional. Kim Ji-Won felt that this role was a good fit for her and enjoyed playing it in the drama My Liberation Notes.

The official synopsis: “The queen of department stores and the prince of supermarkets weather a marital crisis until love miraculously begins to bloom again.”
The other cast members include Park Sung-Hoo (The Glory), Kwak Dong-Yeon ( Gangnam Beauty, My Strange Hero, Never Twice, Vincenzo, and Big Mouth), and Lee Joo-Bin ( Be Melodramatic, Find Me in Your Memory, Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area). The “Queen of Tears” will be soon available on Netflix on March 9.
