Neon released the trailer for Immaculate, a psychological horror film directed by Michael Mohan and written by Andrew Lobel. Stars include Sydney Sweeney, Álvaro Morte, Benedetta Porcaroli. It’s coming out in March.
Sweeney produced the film with Jonathan Davino, Teddy Schwarzman, and Michael Heimler while Christopher Casanova, John Friedberg and Will Greenfield serve as executive producers.
Also, the film was produced by Neon in association with Black Bear.
” Immaculate” hits theatres on March 22.
Sydney Sweeney portrays Cecilia, an American nun who strongly believes in her faith. She relocates to a convent in the Italian countryside, which is overshadowed by formidable darkness and harbours some spine-chilling secrets. The trailer footage showcases Cecilia discovering her miraculous pregnancy but subsequently experiencing a dreadful turn of events.
Sweeney is a popular actress known for her role as Cassie in the HBO series Euphoria. Her amazing acting skills in Reality and The White Lotus have also won over audiences. Previously, she also starred opposite Glen Powell in Soy’s film Anyone But You.
Other Cast include Álvaro Morte, Benedetta Porcaroli, Dora Romano, Giorgio Colangeli and Simona Tabasco.
