20th Century Studios released the official trailer for The First Omen, a prequel to the 1976 horror classic The Omen by Richard Donner, which had an additional remake in 2006 and a short-lived TV series. The characters from The Omen were created and written by David Seltzer.
The trailer plays backwards to the long-running classic horror franchise, returning to the evil’s origin at its centre. The film story is written by Ben Jacoby, and the screenplay is by Tim Smith & Keith Thomas. Directed by Arkasha Stevenson and produced by Tim Smith, Whitney Brown and Gracie Wheelan.
The collaboration between director Arkasha and lead actress Nell Tiger Free has us eagerly anticipating further exploration of this franchise.
