Sony Pictures released the first trailer of an upcoming horror film written and directed by Spenser Cohen & Anna Halberg. The story follows a group of teens breaking and violating the rules of the Tarot while exposing themselves to a gruesome fate.
Harriet Slater, Adain Bradley, Avantika, and Jacob Batalon are among the cast of Tarot. Leslie Morgenstein, Elysa Koplovitz Dutton, and Scott Glassgold produced the film, with Andrew Pfeffer, Scott Strauss, Anna Halberg, and Spenser Cohen serving as executive producers.
What is the “Tarot” film about?
The trailer’s synopsis describes the film as centring on a group of teenage friends who recklessly violate the sacred rule of Tarot, which warns against using someone else’s deck. This act of recklessness unleashes a powerful and unspeakable dark shadow that was previously trapped inside the crused cards. As a result, the characters are forced to confront their gruesome fate.
In the trailer, each figure from the cards comes to life and hunts down its victim. None of the characters who were involved in the reckless Tarot game are able to fight for their lives and survive.
How long do fans need to wait for the release of the “Tarot” film?
The exact date of release remains unannounced. Surprisingly, the month is revealed, and the film will be hitting exclusively in May, with an estimated date of 10 May.
