SUNCOAST

In the trailer, Parker plays the role of Doris, a teenage girl incapable of catching people’s attention towards herself. The audacious mother (Linney) is preoccupied with caring for Doris’ sick brother, who is suffering from severe illness. Despite her family’s problems, Doris wants to live a normal life. Her mother leaves the home to stay with her son at Suncoast, leaving Doris to live alone. During her mother’s absence, she invites friends over and tries to act like everything is normal, but soon, it is shown that things get out of control.

Later, Dories strikes up an unlikely friendship with an eccentric activist, Paul (Woody Harrelson), who is protesting one of the most landmark medical cases of all time. Paul mentored and comforted her through tough times.
